Though stories of UFO sightings (now called “UAP” or Unidentified Aerial Phenomena) have been around for years, their frequency has recently picked up immensely. Rolling Stone reported just three months ago that cumulative military UFO sightings doubled in the past year alone (1). On August 4th, Jeremy Corbell – UFO researcher and documentarian – recently went on the most popular podcast in the world, the Joe Rogan Experience, to shed some more public light on the issue. During the episode, he spent some time discussing Congress’ amendments to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and how they nullify all non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) related to UFO work.

Politico reported (2) that on July 13th, 2022, the bipartisan bill described by Corbell was passed in the house, and it is “part of an aggressive effort to exert more oversight over an enduring intelligence-gathering challenge that has gained more attention in recent years.” The bill ensures whistleblowers will be protected (without a cap on damages from sharing what they’ve worked on) and establishes a chain of command, making it easier for military personnel to report sightings without fear of reprisal. During the interview, Corbell shared several reasons why he believes the new attention from Congress is occurring:

  • Military installations and apparatus are being swarmed at higher and higher rates.
  • Public interest in the topic has been picking up over recent years due to social media and independent media discussion.
  • Congress hasn’t been able to access the details of many (if any) UFO programs or documents, and they are facing pressure from the Pentagon and their constituents to provide answers they do not have.
  • They may be preparing the public consciousness for disclosure.

Pentagon Footage

In late 2017, the New York Times published an article that should have drawn a tremendous response. However, due to the media frenzy surrounding Trump’s first year in office, relatively little mainstream attention was given to the fact that a prominent news organization shared video footage of a fighter jet encountering a UFO that defied all known laws of physics. The sharp cutting angles, instant reversal of momentum, and sheer velocity displayed by the UFO seen by Navy Pilot David Fravor during the infamous “tic tac encounter” (3) have left the scientific community with no reasonable explanation for the technology. We have even seen eerie images of floating pyramids in the sky that can’t seem to be explained.

The world should have been engulfed in amazement when the Pentagon confirmed the footage revealing pyramid-shaped UFOs (released by Jeremy Corbell) to be authentic (5). People waited years to see visual confirmation of something not of this world – and there it was, confirmed by the US military, but the reaction didn’t match the grandeur of the incident.

Too Much Secrecy

According to the Project On Government Oversight, in 2019, intelligence and military spending in America accounted for about $1.25 trillion of US government spending (6). They point out:

“We know remarkably little about the nature of the nation’s intelligence spending, other than its supposed total, released in a report every year. By now, it’s more than $80 billion. The bulk of this funding, including for the CIA and NSA, is believed to be hidden under obscure line items in the Pentagon budget.” (6)

The American government has used illegal methods to fund covert programs; for example, the CIA sold drugs in Central America to funnel weapons to Iran in the “Iran-Contra Affair” (7). We also know American space travel was founded under covert pretenses, as NASA was created by a Nazi scientist who led the mission to the moon, unbeknownst to the public (8). For years, the government has kept secret compounds that it later admits existed – like Area 51, for example (9). There have been reports of recovered alien aircraft for a long time – one of which Bob Lazar, another Joe Rogan guest, claims to have worked on.

With all this secret money floating around that could have been directly invested in UFO programs and secret sites, is it possible the US government (and others) have some technology we’re entirely unaware of? Is it possible extraterrestrial (or even interdimensional) beings are visiting this earth? What if some UFOs are ours, and some aren’t?
