Grammy-award winner Lizzo recently took to her social media platform to help encourage her followers to partake in a healthier lifestyle by introducing two new vegan recipes.

The “Truth Hurts” vocalist, who was formerly a vegetarian for over a decade, became vegan in 2020. In recent weeks, Lizzo showed her 21 million followers how to create a cheesy vegan concoction that she paired along with Takis and a vegan chicken alfredo dish.

Lizzo featured the cheesy sauce in her February 25th TikTok post. The ingredients included Japanese yams, tofu, onion, garlic, nutritional yeast, dairy-free parmesan, vegan smoked gouda, hot sauce, salt, and pepper.

After mixing the items together, the singer poured the sauce over her Takis Fuego chips. In addition to the video, the “Juice” songstress captioned the upload, “EAT YOUR FEELINGS WITH ME.” Days later, Lizzo uploaded a video of her vegan chicken alfredo. In the recording, the singer admitted that it was the first attempt in making the savory dish.

This isn’t the first time Lizzo has commemorated her vegan lifestyle with millions of her followers. In August 2021, the “Good as Hell” songstress tackled fat-shaming when conversing about veganism.

In a TikTok video, Lizzo is seen eating a vegan egg sandwich in her underwear as she sends a message to those who are commenting hurtful comments regarding her weight.

She wrote in the caption, “[Shout out] to all my fat vegans – we look as good as we feel… And to the haters, good luck chasing that narrow beauty standard.”
