Slutty Vegan is coming to Brooklyn!!!!
Slutty Vegan is a plant-based fast-food chain restaurant created in 2018 by Aisha “Pinky” Cole.
Cole’s four restaurants, known for their signature meals, including One Night Stand, Heaux Boy, and Big Dawg, are currently in the Atlanta area, that is, until this upcoming spring.
The restaurant’s New York location would be at 690 Fulton Street, the corner of Fort Greene in Brooklyn replacing the Broccoli Bar. Slutty Vegan’s operation hours are scheduled from Thursdays through Saturdays.
This will mark as Cole’s grand comeback to the Big Apple following the demise of her first venture Pinky’s Jamaican & American Restaurant. Previously located in Harlem, the business was shut down years ago because of a fire.
While discussing Slutty Vegan’s expansion, Cole expressed how she felt regarding this “full-circle moment.”She said, “My first ever restaurant – Pinky’s Jamaican & American Restaurant – was in Harlem, so this is a full-circle moment for me.
The 34-year-old continued, “It’s an honor to be opening a concept in such an established space, just down the street from where Biggie Smalls grew up, and to bring more delicious vegan food to the Brooklyn community.”
Slutty Vegan first announced its New York location on the restaurant’s official Instagram page with a promo including “Power” star Nauturi Naughton. No additional details has been released at this time.
