High Protein Peanut Butter Banana Bread Bars
Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 egg sub flax egg
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2/3 cup creamy salted peanut butter
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder can omit
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mash bananas. add in flax egg, maple syrup, peanut butter, and vanilla extract. mix to combine.
- Mix in almond flour, protein powder, and baking soda.
- Pour batter into the prepared baking dish. bake for 20-25 minutes or until set but still slightly gooey in the center. let cool completely before slicing.
- Enjoy!
