Disney Springs ended the month of February on a high note for those on a vegan, vegetarian, or pescatarian diet.
The company announced on its official Twitter page that it would be welcoming a new food truck, Local Green Atlanta, in a matter of weeks.
The Feb. 28 post read, “The newest addition to our neighborhood is bringing you culture, hip-hop, and fresh, healthy greens in just one bite! Get ready to taste all the goodness of @localgreenatl when they open their #DisneySprings location this March.”
According to their website, Local Green Atlanta –founded in 2017 by Zachary Wallace in Atlanta, Georgia– is described as a fast-casual restaurant whose mission is “to redefine healthy, affordable food for all by creating an ecosystem based on trust and accountability.”
Some of the popular menu items from their Atlanta restaurant could appear at the Disney Springs dining location. It includes cajun air fries, a salmon Philly (“Rapper’s Delight”), classic vegan beyond cheeseburger (“Oh Boy”), and Mexican street corn (“Dumbo”). The menu prices are considered to be reasonably affordable, ranging from $2.99 to $18.99.
Although Disney Springs didn’t release any other details regarding Local Green Atlanta’s upcoming food truck, Wallace mentioned in the comment section of his company’s post promoting the collaboration that they would be open for business next week.
He wrote, “This has been a 12 month process. We preserved and FINALLY about to open next week and able to share. Last day of BHM making history!”
